Being built for the first manager of BHP and being the site for many of the important decisions that shaped the early success of ‘The Big Australian’ the venue is a landmark location in the Newcastle business landscape. A far cry from the four-walls of the modern-day function room Bella Vista has a soul and character that is palpable while still offering the technology and equipment necessary for today’s corporate meeting.

Bella Vista’s unique offering continues further with the opportunity for exclusive use of the entire venue providing absolute privacy for your meeting and ensuring a safeguard for your strategies and intellectual property.

Our main function room enjoys natural sunlight throughout the day and overlooks 3 acres of manicured gardens.  The gardens and outdoor terrace are available for guests to refresh and revitalise during breaks and meal times.  These areas, along with several other rooms throughout Bella Vista can be used as break-out rooms should this be required.

Bella Vista has an abundance of free parking on site and is ideally located in Mayfield just off Maitland Road making it the stress free alternative to the Newcastle CBD.  With the airport only a short 20 minute drive away and accommodation for up to 9 of your interstate colleagues, Bella Vista is the ideal venue for your next meeting.

Bella Vista’s function rooms can be configured to suit your requirements with the capability of hosting up to 130 seated guests and 200 for a cocktail style meeting.

Bella Vista offers luxurious yet affordable accommodation for up to 9 guests during a business meeting . 

Should you wish to provide accommodation for larger groups we have negotiated corporate rates for groups attending a conference at Bella Vista including travel to and from our venue each day.
